In Design and Technology, we prepare our children to be the innovators of the future by grounding their creativity in our core values. We inspire Courage by challenging pupils to take creative risks and Perseverance as they navigate the “trial and error” of the design process, turning setbacks into solutions. Our curriculum fosters Respect for the environment and the work of great designers, while encouraging Kindness through collaborative teamwork and the creation of products that help others. By the time they leave Sherburn, our children are skilled, reflective problem-solvers who have the confidence to design a better world
